Privacy policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

Galaxy Gauntlet is operated by Vandra Labs Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you play the game, visit this website, or contact us. The game does not require an account.

Information we handle

  • On your device: campaign progress, best results, music preference and, when analytics is enabled, an anonymous analytics identifier are stored locally. Progress is not synced to an account.
  • Gameplay analytics: when enabled in a game build, we send PostHog events such as game opening, level selection, flight results, rewarded ad actions and game errors. These include the anonymous identifier, game version and platform. We do not add your name, email address or advertising ID to these events.
  • Crash diagnostics: the iOS version may send native crash reports to PostHog after the next launch. Reports can include technical details needed to diagnose the crash. Native crash reports and gameplay events currently use different identifiers.
  • Support messages: if you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in bug or ad reports.

Rewarded ads

After certain crashes, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad to keep some progress. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. Its SDK may process information such as IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostics. Google may use this information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. The data used depends on your device, region, consent choices and Google's practices. The game does not request App Tracking Transparency permission to use the iOS advertising identifier.

Where required, the game presents a Google consent message before requesting ads. You can reopen Privacy choices from the game's Privacy & Support or settings panel when that option is available. You can play without choosing to watch an ad. See Google's privacy policy and iOS AdMob data disclosure / Android AdMob data disclosure for more detail.

How we use and share information

We use the information above to save your progress, run and improve the game, diagnose faults, serve optional rewarded ads, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. PostHog processes analytics and crash data for us; Google processes data for ads and consent. We may also disclose information when required by law. We do not sell support messages or gameplay records. Service providers may process data outside Australia.

Retention and your choices

Local game data stays on your device until you remove the app or its data. We retain support correspondence and service data for as long as reasonably needed for support, security, compliance and the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold about you. Include your anonymous game identifier if you know it; without an account, we may be unable to connect an analytics record to you. Google's ad data and device-level choices are also governed by Google and your device settings.

Children

Galaxy Gauntlet is intended for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly request a child's name or contact details. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Security and changes

We use reasonable measures to protect information, though no service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the game or its services change. The date above shows the latest version.
